Well-Baby Care
Well-baby care is a type of medical care that your baby receives when he or she is not sick. This type of care is critical to your baby’s health because it helps to ensure that your baby is growing and developing well and strong. During these visits you can discuss with the health care provider any concerns you might have about your child's early development. You can also be on hand to see your baby get his or her vaccinations, which help prevent many diseases, such as chicken pox, measles, polio, and the flu.

Vaccines
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website offers lots of information on vaccines and can help address concerns dads and their kids have on getting them. Doctors' visits are a great opportunity for fathers to ask questions about the safety and effectiveness of vaccinations.
